![]() ![]() I highly recommend enabling the " Mix in buffer switch" toggle, as well as using Mixer playback tracking in the audio settings panel. You'll notice it's impossible to select none, as after a momentary stutter, the default output will be selected automatically. ![]() A quick way to "reset" the driver, is to set your master output device to "none". The downside to this driver is it's instability and unpredictability. However, the dedicated driver has some extra functionality that allow you get clean audio with insanely low latency. Behringer has officialy discontinued the dedicated driver, and instead recommend ASIO4ALL. The Behringer UMC22 and UM2 share a cursedwonky driver. Tl dr - UMC22 making crackling noises whenever i add a plugin to the mixer. Has anybody had this problem, and if so, is there a fix? There are no crackling sounds when using ASIO4ALL or FL STUDIO ASIO, which leaves me to conclude that it must be Behringers shitty drivers that haven't been updated in over 3 years, or could it be something else? I've tried disabling unnecessary sound drivers in my system settings, and that also didn't work. I know it's not my computer, as i recently upgraded and have a 3.8ghz processor (CPU usage is at 6% when FL is open). Every time i chose a new plug in, i would be greeted with awful crackling sounds. However, all was well until i tried mixing. Anyway, i downloaded the drivers, and was very impressed with the lower latency it offers (3ms). I never even though to download the drivers that are meant for my audio interface. So using ASIO4ALL, i have always experienced latency issues (I use an AT2020 for my mic), but they've always been so minor, that I've over looked that issue.
